• September 12, 2011 - Monday - 11:00 a.m. - I am in Florida at the moment with my mom and am thinking of all our friends that we will be seeing this fall. My prayers are with one of our dearest friends, Harry, who is having a difficult time right now. Greg and I wish we could be there right now just to show our support and maybe provide some comfort. I am very much looking forward to our boat trip. October cannot get here fast enough for me.

October 2011

• October 28, 2011 - Friday - 8:45 p.m. - Well, October is almost over and I am still in Florida. My mom is still having health issues but slowly we are figuring things out. I am disappointed we were not able to take a trip on the river. Greg too. The up side is I have been able to spend quality time with my mom. The weather down here has been brutally hot but the past week has been wonderful. The temperature is down and so is the humidity. Just beautiful. I don't know when I will be going home but I would like to be back in Indiana for Thanksgiving. Maybe at that time Greg and I can make a trip down to the boat. This weekend he is winterizing the boat and that is always a sad thing. Since it is in TN winterizing isn't as involved as it was when we kept it in MI. If we go to the boat in the winter it isn't too big of a deal to make it liveable again. I really miss all our friends we see on the river. Next year for sure. If we go down to the boat this winter some time I will post a note on it.
